Exercise.
We all know about those little things called Step Counters, Stepometers, Pedometers etc. Well I,ve just found out an interesting fact about these little gadgets. We are supposed to aim for 10,000 steps per day which to my mind works out at approx 4.5 miles. Now the key bit of infomation to this article is the fact of the 10,000 steps. This originates from Japan.
Its known as ''Manpo-Kei'' which means in English ''10,000-step meters'' If that is enough only you will know! So there you go, you're now more the wiser.
I suppose that 4.5 miles should be an average we should all be aiming for. But remember if it's not possible for you to do that every little bit helps!
When I thought about the look of this site I had in mind an Adventurous look to it, I think and hope it will encourage you to take a walk in the country more often. More of country persuits in later editions.
A Foot Note.
Has anyone noticed how easy the plastic clip snaps on the stepometer when it is on your belt, either when you sit down or when you try to take it off of your belt.
Tip! When this happens I have found Velcro to be the answer.
